Golf de Pals
Golf de Pals is living history of golf in Spain. Opened in 1966, it was the first golf course on the Costa Brava, designed by Sir F.W. Hawtree, one of the most prestigious course architects of the time. Situated on a natural dune system, it is surrounded by a vast pine forest that gives it a unique atmosphere and a top-level technical challenge.
Its layout is characterized by long, narrow fairways flanked by tall pines, requiring shots of great precision. The greens, perfectly integrated into the landscape, demand careful reading and precise putting control. Over the years it has hosted national and international tournaments, reinforcing its status as a benchmark course in Spain.
The surrounding environment is an added value: just a few meters from the golden sandy beaches of Pals, it allows visitors to combine golf with the Mediterranean essence of the Costa Brava. Its facilities include a traditionally styled clubhouse, a restaurant with local cuisine, a practice area and an academy, completing the experience for both players and their companions.
Playing at Golf de Pals is to walk through part of Spanish golf history and experience the authenticity of a classic course, where strategy and precision matter more than power. It is, without a doubt, a must-visit for any golfer looking to enjoy the Costa Brava in its purest form.
